TED
Ted reached out to me in August of 2020 about doing a portrait session for his music. One thing lead to another and I threw out the idea of doing photos regularly to build content for his social media and future releases. He agreed to it and for a year straight we met regularly to make images.
We went from being strangers to the closest of friends. One of our first sessions was during the beginning of my divorce. I was low. Really low. I could tell that Ted is the type to wear his heart on his sleeve and very quickly we got deep. We sat together in my studio and shared our stories, and listened to one another. And over the course of the year we would talk on the phone regularly and spend hours chatting while working.
Ted became more than a client. We cried together, shared fears, talked about the demons of addiction, relationships, and whatever we were currently working through at the time. At the end of 2021 Ted took a huge leap and moved to New York to do music full time.
