Frequently asked questions.

  • Getting started is simple. Just fill out the online inquiry form with your basic details and the type of session you’re interested in. I will follow up via email within 24-48 hours for an additional consultation.

  • Absolutely. I frequently work with clients across the U.S. and internationally. Travel and accommodation fees may apply based on destination.

  • You’ll receive an email to discuss your goals, style, and vision. I will help you finalize the shoot date, location, and any specific details to ensure the session is tailored to your needs.

  • Yes. During your intake email, you can discuss extending your session or adding multiple locations to ensure you get the variety of content you need. I will provide a custom quote based on the extra time and travel required.

  • These packages are designed as a complete, high-quality experience. While you are welcome to skip certain elements (like a specific backdrop or a full hour of shooting), the base cost of the package remains the same to ensure the standard of service and final delivery.

  • To officially secure your date on the calendar, a 50% retainer is required following your consultation. The remaining balance is due within 24 hours before the start of your session.

  • Payments can be made securely online via a variety of digital payment services available on my invoicing portal.

    Detailed instructions will be included in your booking invoice.

  • Standard turnaround for a polished gallery could typically take up to 4 weeks. If you have a tight deadline, please let me know during your consultation. A rush delivery of final files may incur a fee, but I’m happy to help if I can.

  • Yes. After the shoot, you’ll receive a link to a private proofing gallery where you can select your favorite shots for the final gallery.

  • I have no rules beyond the reminder that sometimes bright neon colors can reflect on skin, and stripes don’t always translate well in digital images.

    Beyond that, I want you to wear whatever you feel most comfortable and confident in!

  • Absolutely. If you have a specific vision—such as a large-scale event, a commercial campaign, or a custom editorial spread—please email me directly at iamdavidlawrence@gmail.com. I am happy to provide a custom quote for projects that fall outside the standard portrait packages.

  • I don’t normally offer Photoshop, but I can do specific retouching on request for an extra fee. Included edits are basic color correction that doesn’t significantly alter the image.

  • All bookings are final and non-refundable. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date.

    If an emergency arises, please reach out as soon as possible. I’m happy to apply your retainer toward a future session date within 90 days, subject to availability.

  • I work with several beautiful local studios that photograph incredibly well. Depending on your vision, we can shoot at one of those spaces or at a location of your choosing.

  • Each session includes dedicated shooting time, professional editing, and a curated gallery of high-resolution images delivered digitally.

    All packages include:

    • Pre-session planning and creative direction

    • Location guidance (studio or on-location)

    • Professional retouching and color grading

    • An online gallery for viewing and downloading

    • Personal usage rights

    The difference between packages comes down to time, image count, and the scale of what we can create together.
