Easter Eggs

These signs found me in a moment of transition—between freelance projects, adjusting to life alone for the first time, and rediscovering myself after a three-year relationship.

I began to wonder: ‘What if I left fragments of myself across the city?’ Would anyone notice? Would it matter? The answer, it turned out, was yes.

“Initiated in early 2025 as a street-level exploration of visibility and personal transition, ‘Easter Eggs’ evolved from an urban intervention into a formal collaboration with the Orlando Museum of Art. Originally a series of ‘wanted’ posters scattered throughout downtown Orlando, the project transitioned into the museum’s galleries at the invitation of curator Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon, in tandem with The Florida Prize. By hiding twenty intimate photographs and handwritten notes for patrons to discover, the artist transformed a private journey of self-discovery into a public scavenger hunt of encouragement. This collection documents that evolution—bridging the gap between the vulnerability of the street and the prestige of the institution.”
