Last weekend after work I met up with my friend Rob. We drove 30 minutes outside of the city towards Oviedo to do a quick photoshoot in the woods.
I'm realizing how much so many photographers over glamorize "exploring" and "adventuring" in the wilderness. It was hot and there were TONS of mosquitos. Rob was a trouper though. And the photos turned out great. Couldn't be happier. Creating has come much easier for me lately and I'm thankful.
I spent a season really stressing myself out and finding identity in my art and the things I was creating(or not creating). Its much easier to enjoy shooting and spending time with people when your not focused on how people will see you and what they think of what you are creating.
